Melodifestivalen

Hej ! How are you ? Here in Sweden, I am fine. 

My class is doing work experience during two weeks. But it was a little complicated for me to find one so I am going in the french class as a teacher. I will try to tell what the pupils do next week. 

Another topic now : yesterday it was the "Melodifestivalen" on TV. It is a very famous singing contest. This contest is to decide which song will represent Sweden during the Eurovision. In Sweden in something very important and as Helen tells : "Everyone tells that he hates watching "Melodifestivalen" but actually everyone watchs and even likes !". 

To choose the winning song, five evenings take place and designate the ten songs which will go in final. During each first contest, two songs are chosen only by the public. Then teh final day, after the performances of the ten finalists, the public votes by sms and his opinion counts 50% in the results. The other half is given by an international jury like during the Eurovision (yes, I became a professional whereas I did not know anything :) ).

So this year, Sweden will be represented by Sanna Nielsen with the song : "Undo".

I think I will watch the Eurovision for the first time of my life ! Actually, do you know the french song for the Eurovision ? Just a clue : I think France won't win this year ! So viva Sweden !

Je suis en stage avec la professeur de français cette semaine et le semaine prochaine parce que ma classe doit, elle, en faire un dans une entreprise. J'essayerai de parler des cours et de ce que font les élèves en cours la semaine prochaine.

Changement de sujet complet : hier c'était la finale du "Melodifestivalen"à la télévision. C'est un concours de chant très célèbre qui sert à decider quelle chanson représentera la Suède à l'Eurovision. En Suède, c'est quelque chose de très important et comme dit Helen : "Tout le monde dit qu'il déteste mais en fait regarde et même adore ! "

Pour choisir la chanson gagnante, cinq premières soirées ont lieu pour décider les 10 chansons qui iront en finale. Pendant chaque premier concours, 2 chansons sont choisies seulement par le public. Puis le jour de la finale, après les prestations des dix finalistes, le public vote par SMS et son avis compte pour 50% dans le résultat. L'autre moitié du résultat est donnée par un jury international comme à l'Eurovision (et oui je suis devenue une pro, moi qui ne connaissais rien ! :) ).

Donc cette année, la Suède sera representée par Sanna Nielsen avec la chanson "Undo".
